HR and the Coronavirus

The state of emergency caused by the corona virus also raises questions in personnel marketing and recruiting in many companies: Can planned campaigns and measures be saved or adapted? How do we compensate for events that are now canceled? How can we reach students, students and other talents in the coming time? How can we further digitize our marketing, recruiting and onboarding?

Some questions that are now acute are actually not new at all – but in the everyday hamster wheel, a jerk or even a standstill often causes the necessary changes.

What else do we have to do now than adapt to the unusual situation, learn from it and make the best of it?

This also applies to us at bluebird: We were just finished with a fresh presentation to bring our event portfolio to people in 2020 when the corona virus shut down public life one after the other.

And now? Head in the sand? Certainly not! We take the opportunity and stand ready as a sparring partner to rethink our customer marketing and recruiting activities in the coming weeks and digitize them where possible.

Our offer:

There are many starting points for adapting strategies and measures to the new situation. For example:

  • Value added marketing: More than advertising – we develop ideas for beneficial offers that not only reach the target group, but also inspire them.
  • Regionalization: Schoolchildren and students can also be reached in the coming weeks and months via local partners.
  • Talent pool: Anyone who now has a current distributor with top talent has a clear advantage. For everyone else, it’s high time to build a talent pool.

Above all, it is worthwhile to check already established formats for the possibility of transferring them to digital / virtual. Whether it’s an open house, hackathon, school visit, lecture to students or a workshop with selected talents: We provide the technical solutions to digitize career events. Thanks to VR technology, video conference and chat software, collaborative documents and other tools, we create the perfect setting for completely virtual events.

Small and large groups can be moderated with video conferencing and webinar software. Hackathons, workshops and team tasks can be organized synchronously or asynchronously using digital tools.

With our technology and concept partner evrbit, we develop ready-to-use VR solutions to design individual phases of events in virtual reality and to provide special wow moments. Before an event, participants can be equipped with the necessary technology (e.g. with customized, fully equipped VR glasses).
